Cablan Trips privacy
How Cablan Trips, the app your travel agency gives you your trip in, handles your data.
Updated on 26 October 2026.
Who does what
Cablan Trips is Cablan’s app in which travel agencies that use Cablan give you your trip.
Your trip data (itinerary, papers, payments and travellers) belongs to your agency: it is the controller, and Cablan processes it on its behalf as processor. For the bare minimum that runs the app (its version, errors without personal data and, if you agree, usage metrics) Cablan is the controller.
What data is used
Your trip code, which Cablan keeps only as a fingerprint; your email address, to send you the verification number (the app only shows it masked); your phone’s model and system, the app’s version and language; the country the number is asked from, worked out on our server from the IP address without keeping it; and, if you turn them on, your phone’s notification identifier.
There is no advertising, no tracking and no third-party analytics.
What is kept on your phone
Your trip is kept on the phone so you can see it offline, protected by the system’s own encryption and left out of backups. It is deleted on its own when it expires, when you leave the trip or if your agency closes it.
Permissions and consent
Notifications, the calendar and the camera (to scan the code) are asked for by the system, and you can withdraw them at any time in your phone’s settings. Usage metrics stay off unless you turn on «Help improve the app»; error reports can be turned off in the app’s Settings.
How long
Each phone’s session lasts while your code is valid (until a few days after you return, as your agency sets it) or until 180 days without opening the trip. Of the code, Cablan keeps only its fingerprint for two years, so that it is never handed out again. Your agency keeps the trip data as its own obligations require.
Who else is involved
For notifications, Apple (APNs) and Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging); for error reports, Sentry, in the European Union. The email with your number is sent by your agency. The country is worked out with a database on our own server: nobody else is asked.
Your rights and how to delete your data
In the app, Settings › Delete my data, or here on the web with your code and the number we will email you: your sessions close at once on all your phones, their notifications are removed and your agency gets the request to erase your trip data, which it must answer within one month.
To access, correct or object, write to your agency; for what Cablan processes, to support@cablancrm.com. You may also complain to your data protection authority (in Spain, the AEPD).
Delete my dataUsing the app
The app is free. The trip, its prices and its terms are your agency’s: any question about them goes to it. Use only the code you were given.
The country is worked out with IP to Country Lite by DB-IP, licensed under CC BY 4.0.
